Why work with ESN?
A link to the international students
Our international aim is to offer services to our sections that they can provide to the students that they represent. Our sections aim to provide a smooth transition and integration into the host country for thee students by proposing various activities and offering services to them for their period studying abroad.
A new image for your company
Being a partner of ESN demonstrates your involvement in the future of Europe and in the youth of Europe. Supporting ESN is an expression of interest in the possibilities of young people and the added value they bring with them after a successful mobility period. Providing financial, professional or tangible support for the daily activities of a volunteer student organisation likewise creates a positive public image for your company and brings social recognition and a long-term professional reputation for your brand.
Offer unique services to our members
The ESNcard project, launched in 2005, aims to create an international student card for all exchange students and ESN volunteers. The ESNcard gives students the possibility to benefit from unique partnerships, offers and discounts on the local, national and international level. In 2011, there were 95.000 ESNcards distributed to students around Europe. The ESNcard is used by over 250 ESN sections in 25 countries.
In 2012, ESN created and launched a website dedicated to the ESNcard project which will be the showcase of the ESNcard services for members. All of the partners of our Network are included on this site and you can become one as well, by following the steps at the bottom of the page.
What do we look for in a partner?
ESN is looking for partners that are international in their outlook, scope and operations. We would like to cooperate with companies and organisations that see value in having international, multicultural and multilingual teams working together, much like ESN. Furthermore, we are looking for partners that wish to support the work of ESN and thus, international mobility, educational exchange and intercultural dialogue.
Successful partnershipsSince 2012, the young fashion company New Yorker cooperates with ESN providing clothing solutions for ESN members and attractive discounts for students. ESN has also been successfully cooperating with EF Education First, offering discounted language courses to students supporting our work to promote language learning and international mobility. Moreover, to support the travel needs of exchange students, ESN has partnership agreements with Brussels Airlines and InterRail to offer excellent travel opportunities for students by air and rail. ESN also cooperates with renowned international magazines The Economist and The Wall Street Journal, both providing our students attractive discounts.
