CINEMA VISIONARIO

The arthouse cinema in Udine! Managed by Centro Espressioni Cinematografiche, it has 5 rooms (2 of them are brand new). Try Eden, the only cinema room in the region with DOLBY ATMOS: feel like you're inside a huge bubble of multi-directional sound! This cinema strays from the mainstream movies: here you can also frequently find movies from other countries in the original version with Italian subtitles. There are often movies in English, French, German, Spanish but also Farsi, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and so on. Cinema Visionario also hosts some special guests such as movie directors or actors that come to Udine to present their new movie. You can also see the restored version of some older movies, especially when their anniversary is celebrated. 

Cinema Visionario is one of the venues of the most important Asian Movie Festival in Europe, called Far East Film Festival, that takes place in Udine every April for 9 days.

You will also find the Bistrò that provides drinks, popcorn and snacks before or after the movie. And during summer, the Visionario garden gets lively with concerts or special dinners.
