Fratelli Vietnam

Located in the heart of Bologna, Fratelli Vietnam offers an authentic and intimate window into the rich culinary traditions of Vietnam.

Founded by Kien and Hai — “brothers in spirit” rather than by blood — this cosy eatery was born from a desire to bring genuine Vietnamese flavours to Bologna.

Inside, the space is modest yet welcoming, with seating for around twenty guests and a small internal courtyard that opens during warmer months. The décor is simple and the atmosphere relaxed — perfect for a leisurely lunch or dinner after exploring Bologna’s historic centre.

On the menu, you’ll find traditional Vietnamese dishes crafted with care: delicate rice-noodle soups (phở), fried spring rolls, fresh summer rolls, and heartier options such as tamarind-sauce chicken or beef sautéed with lemongrass. The flavours are clean and balanced, combining fragrant herbs, fresh vegetables and spices to create a truly authentic taste experience. The staff are known for their friendly service and warm hospitality.
