Flam's

Alsace, a small piece of land located in the north-east of France on the border of Germany, is known for its unpronounceable names of villages, the sweetness of its accent ... but especially the richness of its culinary specialties!

"Flammekueche", or "tarte flambée", is the most concrete example. Traditionally made of a fine crisp bread dough, covered with a mixture of cottage cheese and double cream, seasoned with a mixture of spices and garnished with bacon lardons and finely chopped onions, it is cooked over a wood fire, directly on the stone.
